The Partnership Manager role
Designing and running Light’s Accounting Partner Program that generates high-quality leads through trusted accounting relationships.
Building a scalable certification program that equips accounting firms to become official Light experts, creating a community of certified advisors who recommend Light to their clients.
Developing co-marketing and co-selling initiatives with partners that consistently deliver qualified leads to sales.
Creating structured partner journeys—from onboarding to certification to advocacy—that build loyalty and drive revenue.
Turning skeptical accountants into evangelists by demonstrating how Light solves the pains of legacy ERP systems.
Ensuring every partnership delivers measurable ROI: MQLs, pipeline, and closed deals.
Continuously iterating on incentives, certification tiers, and engagement models to keep partners active and invested.
How you fit into the team
Your mission is to turn accounting firms into our most effective demand generation channel. Based in-office in London, this role blends business development, program design, and community building. We need someone who understands accountants because they’ve been one (or worked closely with them) — and can make Light certification a status symbol among firms, translating into a steady stream of qualified opportunities.
Your qualifications could be:
3–5 years of experience in partnerships, channel sales, or program management within SaaS, FinTech, or B2B tech.
Background in accounting, audit, or advisory (or direct experience working with accountants) — you speak their language and understand their mindset.
Proven track record of building lead-generating partner programs.
Experience designing or scaling certification, training, or accreditation programs.
Strong commercial mindset: you measure success in MQLs, pipeline contribution, and revenue.
Relationship Builder: Trusted by cautious, detail-driven stakeholders like accountants.
Bonus points:
ACCA, ACA, or other accounting qualifications.
Experience working inside an accounting firm or building software/channel programs for them.
Background in launching certification academies, communities, or tiered partner programs.
Familiarity with category creation or positioning disruptive solutions against incumbents.
