Light vs Quadient AR
Quadient AR (formerly YayPay) is accounts receivable automation for B2B finance teams: it delivers invoices, runs collections workflows, takes self-service payments, applies cash and uses AI to predict payment behaviour, working with the receivables in NetSuite, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Sage or another ERP. Light is the agentic ERP itself: one ledger where contract invoicing, deferred revenue, receivables and the group accounts are one system.

In detail
Light and Quadient AR, compared
| Feature | Light | Quadient AR |
|---|---|---|
| 01General ledger | One agentic ledger; consolidation posts as transactions happen | Works with the receivables in NetSuite, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Sage, Acumatica, QuickBooks or Xero, which hold the ledger. |
| 02Several entities | Every entity sits on one ledger and rolls up to one group view. | Supports multi-subsidiary set-ups and several ERPs at once. Consolidation stays in the ERP. |
| 03Invoicing and deferred revenue | Contract-based invoicing and deferred revenue automated | Invoice delivery in print and digital. Connects to billing tools such as Zuora; revenue schedules stay in the billing or ERP system. |
| 04Collections and cash | Agents complete work end to end inside your controls; every action logged and attributable | Collections workflows, self-service payments, cash application, credit and disputes, with an AR agent that sorts inbound email and prepares the next action within limits you set. |
| 05Supplier bills | AP and vendor payments executed on local rails in 80+ countries, from the ledger itself | Sold as a separate product, Quadient AP. |
| 06Reporting | Real-time multi-entity reporting with instant drill-down; no spreadsheet exports | AR dashboards and a cash dashboard. Financial statements come from the ERP. |

Keep invoicing in the ledger
Quadient AR delivers invoices and runs collections on the receivables held in your ERP. Light automates contract-based invoicing and deferred revenue inside its own ledger, so the invoice, the payment and the revenue schedule are one record.
- 01
Read SaaS metrics from the books
Quadient AR reports on invoices, payments and collections, and revenue schedules stay in the billing or ERP system. Light computes ARR, MRR, NRR and churn from the ledger and your contracts in real time.
- 02
Report on the whole group
Quadient AR supports multi-subsidiary set-ups, and the consolidation stays in the ERP. Light holds every entity on one ledger and consolidates as transactions post, so group financial statements are current any day.
When to choose Light
- 01
Billing and revenue in the books
Contract invoicing and deferred revenue post straight to the ledger, so nothing needs a tie-out.
- 02
SaaS metrics from the ledger
ARR, MRR, NRR and churn are computed from the ledger and your contracts in real time, with no extra module.
