The builds

No slides, no theory. Everyone picked the part of their job that eats the most time and built their way out of it. Three stood out.

Process Guardian

Half your close lives in one person's head. Process Guardian interviews whoever runs a process the way an auditor would, then writes it up properly: steps in order, who owns each one, when it's due, which system it happens in. Every process gets a bus-factor score, so the question "if Sarah's out tomorrow, can someone else file the VAT return?" has an answer before it's ever asked for real.

Rate Desk Manager

An internal pricing and order-form desk for a EUR rate card that used to live in someone's head and a spreadsheet. Admins maintain the rate card, sellers build customer order forms from it, and the one rule that actually matters is enforced in the app instead of by hope: sellers can generate an order, but they can never touch a price.

Currency Navigator

Built by Miinto

One answer each morning: what to do with the company's currency today, how much, by when, and why. Currency Navigator pulls balances, supplier payments due and expected settlements across Miinto's entities and turns them into a daily recommendation, delivered straight to Slack. Every number traces back to its source and its as-of time, every recommendation shows its full calculation, and nothing executes on its own: a person approves, modifies or ignores each action. It doesn't forecast FX rates either, rates are context, not a prediction.

And the winner is … Currency Navigator

Treasury is the headache every finance team quietly dreads and rarely has time to systemise. Currency Navigator took it head on: real cash positions, real payment obligations, a clear recommendation, and a human still firmly in the loop before anything moves. Deterministic, traceable, and built to be trusted enough to actually use on a Monday morning. That combination is exactly what won it the day.

What's next
