Welcome to Flash #10, and it's a big one. Here's what shipped over the last two weeks.
What we shipped
Custom Agents are live for every company
Every finance team carries a list of small tasks that never get written down. Nobody owns them, so they fall through the cracks.
Custom Agents closes that gap.
Getting started is simple. You brief an agent the way you'd brief a colleague: "Every Monday, find bills with no purchase order and post the list to our finance channel." Set the schedule, and the agent runs it every time, with every run recorded so you stay in the loop.
Because each agent is custom, you can build in the specific quirks that make your business run the way it does. If you can describe the task, Light can do it.
Once an agent finishes a run, it can deliver the results inside Light or straight to Slack, with Teams coming soon.
To get started, go to Settings > Agents, or ask directly in LCI, the Light Command Interface. Admin access only for now.
This is the biggest step yet toward autonomous finance. We can't wait to see what you build.
Light is now inside Claude
Light passed Anthropic's review and is now a built-in connector inside Claude. Teams that already use Claude can connect Light. It inherits their existing Light access, so there's nothing to configure. Your finance answers now live right where your team already works on everything else.
Full audit trail on bills and credit notes
Light now records and attributes every approval, manual post and reversal on a bill or credit note. If your team runs a controls framework or carries an audit requirement, this closes that gap. A new timeline UI for viewing the history rolls out shortly.
Plus, all this
- Approve or decline card requests directly from Slack. No need to switch over to Light first.
- Reverse payments, unarchive invoices and create customer credits, all through LCI. Ask, and it handles the rest.
