Flash #3 – Agents, Memory & IFRS

Light Agents are live, and they're just getting started.

Hey!

Welcome to Flash #3. We've had a busy few weeks for the product (and squeezed in a company-wide offsite to Italy too). Agents are live, memory is built in, IFRS support is here, and we've added full procurement control. Let's get into it.

Agents

Light Agents handle the repetitive, high-volume work your finance team shouldn't be doing manually. Everything that used to live in a spreadsheet or a chase email now runs itself.

Bill Agent

Incoming bills are automatically coded to your chart of accounts, custom dimensions, and policies. Your team focuses on exceptions, not data entry.

Compliance Agent

Bills are checked against vendor contracts, SOWs, and past invoices before they reach a reviewer. Anything unusual – like pricing mismatches or changed payment terms – are flagged and summarised automatically.

Contract Agent

Each contract is parsed against your products, chart of accounts, and ARR definitions from day one. The numbers are queryable immediately, not buried in a PDF.

Reimbursement Agent

Receipts are classified against your expense policies the moment they arrive. Consistent enforcement, no manual routing, no chasing.

Procurement Agent

All intended spend flows through a single channel before it's committed. Available on desktop, mobile, and Slack.

Someone asks Light: "I need to buy 20 MacBook Pros for $2k each." Light captures the vendor, amount, and justification, then routes it through the right approval workflow. The outcome, a vendor card or a PO, is inferred automatically. Approvers get an AI-generated summary and one click to approve or reject. When the bill arrives, it matches to the PO.

No overpaying, no paper trails to chase. Know before you spend, before it happens.

Memory that compounds

Every agent builds memory as it works. How you code a ramp deal. How you handle a late invoice. What counts as a duplicate. It learns what your team approves, corrects, and rejects, and it gets sharper every time.

Memory exists at three levels: each agent accumulates its own, your company has a shared layer that captures organisational patterns and preferences, and each user has a personal layer that fine-tunes how the agent works with them specifically. Other platforms can migrate your transactions. They can't migrate your institutional memory. That's the product.

IFRS-ready

Light agents now have access to IFRS policies (International Financial Reporting Standards). Store in your company memory that you follow IFRS, and every agent action aligns with that automatically.

Think of it like onboarding a new hire. You tell them how you work once, at the start. Light carries it forward from there. Upload a contract, ask how to account for it, and Light gives you a properly structured revenue recognition answer. Straight-line basis, correct apportionment, right treatment. It doesn't describe the policy. It applies it.

More accounting frameworks coming.
