Home Overview

The Home page gives you a quick summary of your organisation's financial position and pending work as soon as you log in to Light.

# What the Home page shows

The Home page displays a set of widgets in a two-column layout. Which widgets you see depends on your permissions — widgets you don't have access to are hidden automatically.

# Tasks

Shows your pending tasks assigned to you, sorted by title or due date. Click any row to open the task detail drawer. Requires the tasks.viewOwn permission.

# Card accounts

Shows all active card accounts with:

• Account name
• Number of active cards
• Available funds

Click a row to navigate to the account detail page. Use the Add funds button on any row to top up an account. The See all cards button navigates to the full cards list. Requires the cards.view permission.

# Balance by bank accounts

Shows your total cash balance across all bank accounts and card accounts as a donut chart, with a breakdown per account sorted by balance. Balances are converted to your company's base currency. Displays the time of the last update. The Bank reconciliation button navigates to the bank reconciliation page. Requires the home.viewAllBalances permission.

# Top vendors

Shows your top vendors ranked by amount spent, with year-to-date and month-to-date spend, the change in rank, and the month-to-date change percentage for each vendor. You can filter the list by entity. Visible only to users who can view vendors.

# Layout

The Home page layout is fixed — widgets cannot be reordered, resized, or hidden manually. Visibility is controlled entirely by your permission set.
