Managing Tasks in Light

This article explains how you can view and process your assigned tasks using the Light web app. It provides an overview of how to access your tasks, review details, and approve changes as needed.

Task Overview

Accessing Tasks:
Log into the Light web app and click on the "Tasks" tab at the top of the screen. Here, you will find an overview of all tasks assigned to you.

Multiple Task Tabs:
Your tasks may be organized across multiple tabs. Simply click on the relevant tab to view specific tasks assigned to you.

Task Details and Processing

Task Example – Vendor Update Approval:
One common task involves approving vendor update changes in the core data system.
When you view the task:

  • The current active banking details are displayed.

  • A request has been made to update a specific field (highlighted in yellow) by a vendor representative.

  • There is no pre-set deadline for this task.

Approving Tasks:
To approve the change:

  • Review the current details and the requested update.

  • Click on the "Approve" button to complete the task.

  • Once approved, the task is moved to your closed tasks section, confirming that the change has been successfully processed.
